Discover the Gran Aroma event that is touring Colombia.
The world of artisan perfumes is fascinating for some and unknown to others. Since August 2021, Gran Aroma has been organizing a private event called “Cata de Perfumes” or “Fragrance Sampling” which introduces niche perfumes in major cities across Colombia. At this event, you can explore around 120 niche fragrances from some of the top perfume houses.
The exclusivity and rarity of these fragrances make it challenging to find niche brands in Colombia, such as Parfums de Marly, Tiziana Terenzi, Initio Parfums, Nishane, Tom Ford, Mancera, Montale, or ILMIN.
It’s even harder to come across the scents of some of the world’s best artisanal perfumers, like Tauer Parfums (Andy Tauer), Frederic Malle, and Rossendo Mateu.

At the event, you’ll be guided by William Santos, an ontological coach from Bogotá, who assists each guest in finding their ideal fragrance according to their preferences and personality.
Through various activities, the coach identifies the traits you want to highlight and matches them with one of the fragrances from the catalog, helping you better express your essence.
The event also includes an immersive experience with virtual reality glasses, taking you on a journey around the world with olfactory experiences that transport you to different places through scent—something never before seen with niche perfumes in Colombia.
When is the Gran Aroma event in Barranquilla?
Gran Aroma will be bringing its fragrance sampling event to Barranquilla on Friday, August 30th, and Saturday, August 31st. The event will run from 9am to 6pm. Since the appointment is personalized, you must choose one hour to attend during that time frame. To book your appointment, contact Gran Aroma directly via Instagram or Whatsapp.
The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The cost is $60,000 COP per person or $100,000 COP for two people. The entry cost can be applied to any fragrance of your choice.
