Paulette lives in Barranquilla and is a partner and managing editor of Discover Barranquilla. She is also the moderator of Barranquilla.Guide - Expat and Tourist Info on Facebook. She was born in Barranquilla and grew up in New York City's most fabulous borough, the Bronx, and is also fully fluent in English and Spanish.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communication and Spanish from the City University of New York – Baruch College. She has prior experience as a translation and localization project manager, human resources manager, and litigation legal secretary. Paulette has been an ES-EN translator for 15 years and is Traductora Auxiliar de la Justicia for Atlántico.

Paulette also hosts an expat meet-up every Thursday at Red Door Pub - El Prado. In her free time, she loves spending time at the beach, trying new restaurants, and relaxing with her two cats.
